I finally got off work Friday which meant it was time for me to hit up Louie G's Pizza in Fife, WA for another round of amazing pizza and a music show to rock my face off. Louie G's provides a feel that I have never felt at any venue I have gone to so far. Louie has a very team oriented staff that provides food that tastes great and then tops it off by providing his customers with entertainment.

This show in particular featured three rising bands from here in the Northwest: Jason Kertson and the Immortals, Klover Jane, and ending the night with Shoreline Drive.
Let's start off with The Immortals. This Grunge/Metal band has only been complete for 10 weeks but has already racked up a fan base of 1000+. The band lineup has Jason Kertson on Guitar/Vocals, Zach Rowell on Bass/Vocals and Troy Wageman on Drums. Their front man Jason has become such a hit on Youtube and Facebook that he is currently under the management of Dave Mustaine from Megadeth! The Immortals started the show huge having the crowd headbanging and jumping with original songs including a cover of Symphony of Destruction in tribute to Mustaine himself. If you want updates on where they are going to next or want to listen to their newly released 3 song EP (more to come), you can like their band page by clicking here.
Following The Immortals was the highly adored Klover Jane. The Hard Rock band is fronted by Rane Stone and is in the Top 5 for the Best Western Washington Bands which definitely shows every time I see them live. These guys aren't afraid to rock out and say it how it is, having catchy headbangers such as "Disposable Poser" and "Suicide." It is highly recommended if you like something unique and hardcore that you all check them out on their facebook as well.
Last but not least is Shoreline Drive. SD is a Pop Punk band from Seattle who brings a lot to the table when it comes to their Genre. The other two bands and them did a great favor to the other by having all their fan bases be introduced to each others music. They really pulled off being a unique part of the show by not having songs that were headbangers but by having songs with clear words and a fun beat. If you are a fan of We the Kings, Paramore, Taking Back Sunday or a general Pop Punk fan then these are the guys you want to listen to. You can like them on Facebook by clicking this link.
Every time I go to a new show at Louie G's I always come out liking a new band, this time it was definitely Shoreline Drive. I always enjoy being able to have a pizza buffet and a show which is why I can't stress enough that all of you become more engaged in local music and venues. If you are local to Washington then come on down and mosh/jump/dance/clap/anything and you'll have a guaranteed good time. Once again please check out all the links I posted so all of these people get the credit for providing the Best Pizza I have ever had followed by the Best Bands I have ever heard. This is me signing off for my first Blog Post, hope you enjoyed.
Thanks Rane, as I go to more shows more of these reviews will be out
